The Italian Canadian Sports Federation would like to welcome Jessica Marano as our Staff Coach working specifically with all of our female teams and players. Jessica will be working closely with our Director of Coaching Niall Thompson to ensure that all girls teams, coaches and players get the best development opportunity at ICSF.

Jessica Marano Bio
Coach Jessica holds her Canada Soccer National C Licence and is also a strength, agility, and speed coach. Jessica has been playing soccer for 18 years and has been involved in coaching for the past 13 years. Jessica was one of ten coaches chosen to be a part of the BC Soccer Female Coach Mentorship Program which she successfully completed. She currently plays in the League 1 BC female soccer league and in the Women’s Premier League. Jessica was also a standout player for 4 years at Simon Fraser University.
Jessica is a certified yoga instructor, former Youth Academy coach for the MLS Vancouver Whitecaps, and Strength and Conditioning Coach for various academies in the lower mainland. She has a Bachelor of Education with minors in Kinesiology, Elementary Generalist, and Early Learning Education from SFU, and a Master’s degree in Trauma and Resilience from Concordia University.
During the day, Jessica is an Education Service Teacher for the Surrey School District where she teaches high school students that are at-risk! She is also the founder of the LADIES Empowerment Program which is a program that focuses on engaging young females across Canada to help improve motivation, confidence, and resilience through seminars, workshops, and community involvement.
In 2022, Jessica participated in the Maccabi Games in Israel as the Canadian U18 Girls Assistant Coach, where the team took home a bronze medal.
