The Italian Canadian Soccer Federation (ICSF) offers scholarships to recognize graduating student-athletes who are continuing their education through post-secondary studies. These awards celebrate the dedication, leadership, and contributions of young athletes to soccer, their club, and their community.
Through our scholarships, ICSF is proud to support the next generation of leaders both on and off the field.
ICSF Scholarships - $1,000 each
This scholarship recognizes two student-athletes—one male and one female—who have demonstrated a consistent commitment to personal growth and development both on and off the field. The award honors individuals who exemplify dedication, perseverance, leadership, and a strong work ethic in their athletic pursuits while maintaining integrity and balance in their academic and personal lives.

Gregorio Sestito Memorial Scholarship - $500
The Gregorio Sestito Memorial Soccer Scholarship was established by the Sestito family to honor the life, passion, and legacy of Gregorio Sestito.
Born and raised in Catanzaro Lido, Gregorio was an avid soccer fan and a devoted supporter of AC Milan. Soccer was more than a sport to him—it was a source of connection, joy, friendship, and community. An exemplary student and cherished friend, Gregorio had a passion for helping others and pursued his dream of becoming a physiotherapist. He worked hard to achieve that goal and, at just 23 years old, had recently graduated from physiotherapy school when he was diagnosed with acute leukemia. Tragically, he lost his life to the disease soon after his diagnosis.
Our family hopes to honour his legacy by giving back to the soccer community that has become such an important part of our lives, while keeping Gregorio’s love of soccer and passion for helping others alive and inspiring another young person to pursue their dreams both on and off the field.
