Emiliano Brienza is a Mexican-Canadian professional forward known for his technical skill and attacking presence. Born in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Emiliano moved to Coquitlam, British Columbia at age 13, where he developed his talents with Mountain United FC before joining the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy in 2018.

In 2022, he signed with Whitecaps FC 2 in MLS Next Pro and made his MLS debut on a short-term loan with Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Emiliano has also been called up to Canada’s U17 national team camp.

He currently plays for ICSF Columbus FC in the Premier Open Men’s Division of the Vancouver Metro Soccer League (VMSL) and was named BC Soccer Player of the Year in 2024.

At ICSF Columbus FC, Emiliano will coach at the minis level ( U8-U10 ), focusing on introducing young players to the game in a fun, positive environment that emphasizes foundational skills, creativity, and confidence.

In addition to his playing career, Emiliano holds Canada Soccer certifications at all grassroots levels, including Active Start, Fundamentals, Learn to Train, and Soccer for Life, reflecting his dedication to age-appropriate coaching and long-term player development.
